This Lapins Cherry Has So Many Benefits!
Ten years ago, I planted these three Lapins cherries growing normally—roughly 12 to 24 inches a year! This Lapins Cherry, in my opinion, has the shortest chill hours of any cherry tree in my area, precisely in USDA zones 5–9. Rainer cherries in the same USDA zone require 700 chill hours annually, whereas Lapins cherries only require 400 hours. The fruit has a darker red color and a more intricate taste. It also contains a lot of health benefits, including antioxidants and the ability to lessen sleeplessness. This tree is somewhat vulnerable to abrupt temperature swings and excessive waterlogging.
